George Lane (mental calculator)

George Lane (born 1964 ) is a British 'mental calculator' and author. He is a three-times world champion[1] and one of only three Grandmasters of Mental Calculation,[2] as recognised by the Mind Sports Organisation. He was narrowly beaten at the mental calculations world championship by Gert Mittring in 2004[3]. His system of mental calculation is described in his best-selling book Mind Games: Amazing Mental Arithmetic Made Easy.[4]
